Ready for Boarding

Individual flight booking has proven to be cheaper and more flexible. We will meet on 14.03. in Bangkok. From then on you can switch to Thaibreak mode and don’t have to worry about (almost) anything.

You can check in at the Pullman G from 15:00. We calculate 2 hours for immigration and the transfer from the airport to the hotel. We will pick you up at the airport or help you with the transfers. If you would like to check in directly after arrival, you can book an early check-in for 110€/room. Starting with breakfast in Bangkok is not a bad idea.

You can extend your stay at the Pullman G on our page if you land in Bangkok before March 14.

Bangkok - Koh Mak

Transfer

VIP Van (included in the travel price)
The vans take us directly from the hotel to our destination in a relaxed manner. Plenty of time to recline the backrest and catch up on any sleep we may have missed. We reach the coast after around 4 ½ hours, board the speedboats and dock on our beach 45 minutes later.

Domestic flight (via Bangkok Air)
The flight with Bangkok Air is certainly the quickest option to Koh Mak. At 09:30, the vans are waiting in front of the hotel to take us to the airport. We land in Trat at 12:40 pm. Off to the pier and by speedboat to Koh Mak. Please book the flight at www.bangkokair.com.

16.03. / PG 305 Bangkok 12:45 to Trat 13:45

27.03. / PG 306 Trat 14:15 to Bangkok 15:15

Transfers from Trat Airport to the pier are organized.

Welcome to paradise

Koh Mak

Our dream island is located in the eastern Gulf of Thailand, not far from the large neighboring island of Koh Chang and yet far away from the tourist hustle and bustle. With a size of 16 square kilometers, Koh Mak is quite manageable and can be easily explored by moped, on foot, by boat, by bike or by pick-up cab. We take advantage of the friendly size and have Thaibreak take place at the most beautiful spots on the island. And we certainly found them!

Koh Mak was the first Thai destination to receive the “Low Carbon Award” in 2023. And rightly so, as you will soon see. Waste is separated, there is hardly any dirt on the roadside and e-mobility has also arrived on Koh Mak. Golf carts and e-scooters can be hired almost everywhere. On and around Koh Mak you can chill out on beautiful palm-fringed beaches. Those who like it more sporty will find plenty of opportunities to do so. The island’s numerous culinary highlights are a real treat. More about all these great experiences and Koh Mak in the Thaibreak Guide.

For us and all those who have already been there, it is a visit to good friends and it will also be for all “newcomers”.
